Budget Friendly Refresh

Using your existing furniture and accessories, we can advise you on how to reinvigorate your home to look fresh as well as functional. New paint on the walls and a few new accessories may be all you need to create a fun and fresh space in your home.

Renewal & Remodeling

Ready to tackle major changes to your home? We will create a plan for your space and help you select new furnishings, accessories, window treatments, floor coverings, and wall colors to create a space that reflects your individuality and style.

This kitchen went from black and brown to white, teal and gold accented by their existing lovely warm wood flooring.  Here we removed some upper cabinets to create a bar area and added pendant lights.  We reused the existing cabinetry and added new doors and drawer fronts for an updated look.  Lovely new backsplash and quartz counters and sparkling new appliances created a fresh bright kitchen.

This project also included adding a custom barn door for sound control between the living area and the kids rooms, relocating the TV above the new custom mantel, and lovely camel leather swivel chairs for practicality when either watching the game or visiting with friends and family.

Here we added custom cabinetry for a combination butler's pantry and office space.  Installing doors between this room and the dining areas created a quiet place to work when needed, but an opening when serving. Butcher block counters are a budget friendly and beautiful choice for the coffee bar, floating shelves and office area.  This room also included a 24" pantry with pullout shelving and lots of large drawers for a client who likes to entertain

and needed storage for large serving dishes.

To create space for a 60" vanity, we had to steal space from the closet adjacent to this bathroom.  We were able to recover some of that space by reconfiguring a closet in another part of the  bedroom.  That created space for a double vanity.  We also opened part of the shower enclosure and relocated the plumbing to give the feeling of a more spacious master shower.

Before & After

Fresh paint, new comfy furniture and a more open layout make this living area bright and welcoming for guests and family relaxation.

Family Dining

Before & After

For this client, we lightened and brightened by stripping their table down to the natural wood finish.  We added a bright teal indoor/outdoor rug for easy maintenance and a fun, glamourous light.

Bright & Open

Family Room

This bright and open living area was part of a whole house remodel. The clients selected a lovely wood looking tile floor for durability and a pop of blue for the barn door that creates a sound barrier for young children in the other part of the house.

This project was completed by a wonderful design and build firm.  My only role was to help the client select finishes on their complete house remodel.

Dining - Before & After

Refreshing your spaces can bring new life to your home for you and your family and friends to enjoy.

In this dining room, we updated the wall color, added an accent of modern wallpaper, replaced the furnishings and the lighting for a completely new look featuring warm woods and creams, aquas and brushed gold.

Sparkling Kitchen Update

For this kitchen update, the cabinets were in great condition and just needed a color change. We added a lovely smokey blue glass backsplash and quartz counter with just a hint of gray veining.

Family Room - Before and After:

Adding cooler tones created a fresh new look for this living area. Removing the bulky built in cabinets in the corner created flexibility for the family to use the space as they preferred.

Modern Kitchen - Before & After

Very little structural changes were needed in this pretty house.  A little paint goes a long way to creating a whole new feel.

Kitchen - Before & After:

At times it is hard to believe this is the same kitchen.

In this project we dropped a wall to create an office in what had been the kitchen dining area. We added a gas line for this amazing range and created a large island to increase counter space.  We added new lighting and new windows for energy efficiency in addition to the custom cabinets, quartz counters, new tile work and lighting.

Before

Entryway - Before and After:

In this major remodel, we removed the dated wood paneling, changed the wall color and rebuilt the stairway to create an updated first impression of this 1970's Austin home.

Family Room - Before and After

In the family room, we added silver travertine to a huge floor to ceiling fireplace to accentuate this focal point, updated the lighting, built a custom mantel to hide all electronics, and updated the furniture to create a room for the family to spread out and relax.

Before

There were lots of lovely cool tones and warm wood floors to complete this project.

Before

This North Loop duplex was given new life with new windows and doors and a happy yellow coat of paint.  We added a deck for outdoor living space and converted a window to a door for ease of access.

Before

When we started with this update, the kitchen was dated and barely functional.  When we were finished, it gleamed with a bright black and white color scheme and new stainless appliances.  The original 1951 floors were restored to a glorious rich walnut finish and the bathroom was given a crisp white update.
